As a child I was already fascinated by traditional costumes. In my youth I always went to Drenthe on holiday. We always took a trip to Staphorst where I was amazed! Many girls my age also wore a ring with a Dutch button. Of course I had one too! I also had scrapbooks full of fabrics from all kinds of Dutch costumes.

The Dutch button from Zeeland formed the starting point for a collection of jewelry made of porcelain, gold, silver, red coral, pearls and gemstones. They are all handmade jewelry by myself.
