I was able to design a collection of jewelry for the Rijksmuseum in the context of the Johannes Vermeer exhibition that took place in early 2023. Of course I was inspired by the "Girl with the pearl", but also by the beautiful color palette.

By using enamel in yellow and blue I was able to imitate the atmosphere of the colors in the paintings. I was and am very much in love with the color of the yellow jacket that is often seen in Johannes Vermeer's paintings. I used the stones lemon quartz and tourmaline (in beautiful bluish tones) in addition to the enamel for the necklaces.

Of course, pearls could not be missing from the design!
